Entertain family and friends in a unique seaside setting. Are you a group of up to 50 people looking to get together close to home, but with a change of scenery? With its 16 cottages, its reception area and its exceptional setting not far from the cliffs, Le Pré Marin is undoubtedly the place for you! (Privatization available every weekend between April and November, except July and August).
The reception area comprises 2 interconnected rooms:
L’écurie: this former stable has been converted into a 65 m2 activity room. With its large bar counter and authentic atmosphere, it’s sure to win you over with its warm, friendly atmosphere.
La verrière: adjacent to the stable, this workshop-style extension is a modern, bright 55 m2 space. The wide wall of bay windows opens directly onto the outdoor terrace, for a very pleasant inside/outside effect. On the terrace, a beautiful outdoor kitchen with a giant BBQ/plancha will host your grilled meats in large numbers… as well as tables and benches to host your big tables under the Normandy sun!
For a semi-privatization of the site, you’ll be able to meet for your meals in a private area: the glass roof. This room is open to the stable/activity room, which will remain accessible to other village guests. Privatization of the glass roof is automatically combined with chalet rental. ATTENTION: – We do not rent out rooms on their own – Semi-privatisations exclude dances – Weekend availability is rare, so give preference to weekdays.
Privatization of the glass roof includes :
access to 55m2 of space
reception furniture (tables, chairs, sideboards)
fabric tablecloths
crockery (plates, cutlery and glasses) and decoration (table runners, candle holders, lanterns…)
end-of-stay cleaning (not tidying up)
electricity and heating (pellet stove)
use of the outdoor kitchen (BBQ/plancha)
access to a small professional kitchen (large fridge, 4-burner piano + oven, dishwasher, sink and microwave oven)
If you wish to rent out the whole village (all 16 gîtes), you’ll have access to the “verrière + écurie” combination for your receptions. These 2 interconnected spaces will enable you to give different dimensions to your evenings (cocktails, buffets, banquets, dances…).
Full privatization of the reception area includes :
access to double space: glass roof + stable (120 m2)
reception furniture (tables, chairs, sideboards)
bar counter and equipment (ice maker, wine cabinets, glasses, cocktail fountains, etc.)
Party equipment (sound and light, giant flat screen, karaoke…)
electricity and heating (pellet stove + electric radiators)
access to a small professional kitchen (large fridge, prover, 4-burner piano + oven, 2 dishwashers, sink and microwave oven) and crockery (bowls, plates, cutlery, glasses, etc.)
access to the outdoor kitchen (BBQ/plancha) and garden (garden party)

Frequently asked questions
Is the reception area air-conditioned?
No, there’s no air-conditioning at Le Pré Marin. Firstly, for ecological reasons, and secondly, let’s be honest, it’s not really essential in Normandy!
Is there a set time for the end of the evening?
On this subject, we appeal to your common sense and understanding for the well-being of the neighborhood. We don’t set any particular hours, but please bear in mind that Le Pré Marin is right in the heart of the village. Even if our neighbors are few and occasional (second homes), we’re not alone. So it goes without saying that we can’t tolerate any noise pollution or nuisance during the night. It’s up to everyone to respect the peace and quiet of the area, and to take responsibility for the smooth running of the evenings.
Do you apply the corkage fee?
No, you’re free to bring your own alcoholic beverages.
Can we ask you to find extra beds next to Le Pré Marin?
In the Rue du Pré, you’ll find the Camping des Pommiers, with its comfortable bungalows for any additional guests. Bear in mind, however, that accommodation capacity is proportional to reception capacity at Le Pré Marin. Overcrowding is not recommended 😉
